Chapter 4 Questions

Question 1- Make a facts chart about Mrs. Cooper.

Question2-  Make a list of the 3 things Abby has to do to get promoted to 7th grade.


Chapter 3 Questions

Question 1- Compare Abby to yourself. Do you have anything in common with her character?

Question 2- What does Mrs. Carmody tell Abby?

Question 3- At the end of this chapter how does Abby feel about herself? Explain.

Chapter 2 Questions

Question 1- What is the setting in this chapter, and how is it different from Chapter 1?
Question 2- What is Abby doing when we first meet her?
Question 3- Andrew Clements (the author of this book) does an awesome job of leaving us clues as to what is about to happen during the chapters in the titles of the chapters! Look at the title for chapter one, and then look at the title for chapter 2- what do these titles tell us about the chapters. Use your thinking skills! :)

Extra Credit- Introduction Post!

This is the book we will be reading. Starting on November 4th, I will assign you 2 to 3 chapters to read out of the book- you are required to read these outside of class, and come ready to discuss. On the days that we do not meet, I will have questions posted on this blog. 

1) How to leave a response to a question posted:

That is what you will click when you are ready to answer the question that is posted. Each of you are responsible for responding to the question that is posted.
