Show and Tell Assignment

For our last day, I want to do a show and tell assignment

In chapter 13, Sadeed gave Abby something very special in his letter- a rock from the Hindu Kush mountain, and he said that it was something no one else had touched except the two of them! In chapter 14, Abby sends Amira/Sadeed a tiny bag of soil from her yard- again, something no one but the two of them have touched. 

I want you to think of something that you can bring to show our group. Something that you might put in a letter to your penpal- it could be a drawing, something that you collect, a rock like Sadeed, a pretty leaf or flower. Something that represents something important to you!

I will bring something as well.

For our last day, and I will go over this again on Tuesday, be thinking about what you want to put on our poster board for the library. You can bring pictures, draw pictures, or do some research on the settings! We want this poster to be eye catching for the other students in the school, and we want them to want to read this book too!
